Welcome and thank you for your interest in our youth flag football program!
To get you off and running quickly, this page contains some brief information about specific topics. Each section has links to their respective pages which dive deeper into those specific topics.
Be sure to check out the other areas of our website which provide a wealth information about our program, community involvement, board of directors, and how to contact us if you have questions or comments!
Communications
General communications on league activities such as registration notices, pre-season activities, and special events will be communicated using our mailing list, which you can sign up for on our Contact Us page.
In-season league and teams specific communications will be done within the TeamSnap website/mobile app.

Season
Our fall flag football season runs from August to October each fall.
Looking to plan out your calendar to avoid unfun scheduling conflicts? Great! Check out our calendar/schedule for a quick look when our games and other special events are taking place.
Practices
Practices are primarily held Tuesday and Thursday evenings on the Meyer Middle School fields from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. For more information, visit our Practices page.
Games
Games Days are held primarily held on Saturdays on the Meyer Middle School fields between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. For more information, visit our Game Day page.
Divisions
Youth players are separated into three divisions based on the grade in school they will be entering that fall. We have a 1st/2nd Grade Division, 3rd/4th Grade Division, and a 5th/6th Grade Division.
Each division has specific rules, field sizes, playbooks, etc. Check out the details for your youth player's division page for more information.
Events
The River Falls Youth Football Association has a number of events that coincide with our fall season.
We start off with a Combine Night to assess the skills of youth players which help us create fair and even teams.
Summer Camp & Season Kickoff consists of hanging out with our River Falls Wildcat football players for a fun few hours of practice drills and games. Afterwards, we have our Season Kickoff lunch for your entire family.
In place of one of our practice nights, we head over to the UWRF campus to practice with the UW Falcons football team.
Another favorite event is when our youth players form a tunnel for the Wildcat football players to run on/off the field during a home game halftime. In addition, while the Wildcats are prepping for the second half, we run onto the field and participate in some fun activities.
Want the thrill of a night game? One of our season's games is played at night Under the Lights on the High School field. Always a highlight of our youth players!

Player Registration
Open from May 1st to July 31st. (Note: a late registration fee will be assessed after July 20th)
Would you like to help our youth players realize a love for the game like you have? Consider volunteering to coach your child's team! Assistance is available for all coaches (rookies or pros).

Open from May 1st to August 6th.
